After waiting us make almost a month since the awesome debut episode, DuckTales returns next weekend (September 23) with two new episodes.

We've got episode descriptions and a first look at "Daytrip of Doom" from Tennantnews.com:

First up is Daytrip Of Doom which sees Scrooge McDuck's great nephews take Webby to Funso’s Fun Zone and have a dangerous run-in with the Beagle Boys.

Also airing on 23rd September is The Great Dime Chase where Louie accidentally spends Scrooge’s Number One Dime and turns to mad inventor Gyro Gearloose for help to get it back, while Dewey and Webby become entangled in a conspiracy.

Commentary: I thought the pilot was excellent, and this clip from episode 2 looks great.  I love that Scrooge seems to find the children amusing and not just nuisances.  When he yells at Dewey not for running in the house, but because you "don't yell ar your target before you fire, it gives up the element of surprise" I couldn't stop laughing.   I also love Webby's intensity and how seriously she takes "getting her character's backstory."  Definitely looks to me like this show has a lot more than just one awesome pilot.

As for the episodes themselves, we get the Beagle Boys and a story about Scrooge's number one dime.  There was actually another clip Disney posted on Twitter a few weeks ago, which told the story of the dime, which I also enjoyed.  It's clear the creators of this new DuckTales love the original and the comics, so I think Scrooge and company are in very good hands here!
