There hasn't been a lot of news for Power Rangers: Ninja Steel, even though the series debuts on Nickelodeon‎ next month.  But I decided to share what we know so far.

We did get a brief teaser after the Power Rangers: Dino Super Charge Christmas Special (and last episode).

The official description from the show makes it sound pretty quirky.  Power Rangers meets Reality TV?

Saban's Power Rangers Ninja Steel starts deep in space, where Galvanax is the reigning champion of the most popular intergalactic game show in the universe, and monsters battle to prove who is the mightiest warrior. Zircon is determined to become invincible by controlling the mythical Spirit Crystal, which contains six supernatural Ninja Power Throwing Stars. The only thing standing in his way is a new team of heroic teenage Power Rangers who possess the Spirit Crystal. The evil Galvanax sends his warrior contestants down to Earth to steal the Crystal, where each epic battle against the Rangers is broadcast throughout the universe. Together, the Rangers must master their arsenal of Throwing Stars, Zords and Megazords, each made of legendary ninja steel, in order to stop this evil threat and save our planet from destruction.

We also know the main cast:

Role Actor
Red Ranger (Brody)  Will Shewfelt
Blue Ranger (Preston) Peter Sudarso (brother of Yoshi Sudarso who played the Dino Charge Blue Ranger)
White Ranger (Hayley) Zoe Robins
Yellow Ranger (Calvin) Nico Greetham
Pink Ranger (Sarah) Chrystiane Lopes

We also have some images of their Zords...which are a real unusual combination.  My friend Matt says it looks they went to a discount toy store and grabbed the first five items they could find.

Red Robot
Blue Dragon
White Kodiak
Yellow Dump Truck
Pink Train
Ninja Steel Megazord

That's pretty much everything.  Liked the trailer.  Thought the Zords were a weird mix, but I actually do like most of the designs.  And the Ninja Steel Costumes look pretty good.  I am going to miss Dino Charge, but it's par for the course with Power Rangers.  You only get a few seasons before they move on to something else.
